Privacy, in plain terms

This notice describes the static reader and its local letter-writing tool. It does not describe the independent services you may choose to visit.

Scope and contact

This notice applies to pavilionsortwalnut.living. Questions about privacy may be sent to [email protected]. The site does not provide accounts, subscriptions, checkout or an online message-submission service.

Browsing the reader

The supplied site code contains no analytics, advertising pixels, third-party embeds or behavioral profiling. Fonts, styles, scripts and image references are local. Visiting a page still requires ordinary network communication with the hosting service. A hosting provider may process technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time for delivery, security and operational purposes.

This static notice does not specify a hosting provider or a server-log retention period. Such infrastructure details depend on the deployed service and should not be inferred from the absence of application tracking.

Letter drafts stay in the browser

With JavaScript enabled, the contact tool reads the fields you enter and constructs a plain-text preview in the current page. It does not transmit the draft to the site, use browser storage to save it, or send it by email. Editing a reviewed letter requires a new review before copying or downloading. The tool does not offer persistent draft recovery.

Your browser, extensions or device may independently retain form entries, history or session state according to your settings. On a shared device, clear any sensitive text and close the page when finished. Avoid including financial details, identity documents, health information or other sensitive personal data.

Clipboard and downloads

Choosing “Copy letter” asks the browser to place the reviewed text on your clipboard. Other applications and device features may then have access to that clipboard under their own permissions. Choosing “Download .txt” creates a local text file. You control where that file is kept and whether it is shared or deleted. Neither action sends correspondence to us.

Email you choose to send

If you send an email separately, the recipient and email service providers process the address, message and any attachments you include. Correspondence may be used to answer your inquiry, assess a correction, maintain relevant editorial records or address misuse. We do not use contact messages to create a marketing list.

Correspondence should be retained only as needed for those purposes or applicable obligations. To request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information in correspondence, contact the address above. Depending on applicable law, additional rights or exceptions may apply; reasonable verification may be needed before acting on a request.

Cookies and browser storage

The supplied reader code sets no cookies and uses neither localStorage nor sessionStorage. A hosting or separately provided consent layer may have its own necessary storage behavior. See Cookies for the scope of this statement and available browser controls.

External resources

Following an external source link takes you to another organization’s website, where its policies apply. Clicking an email link opens your configured email application or service. We do not control those services or their privacy practices.

Changes

If the reader’s data practices change, this notice should be updated to describe the new behavior before it is introduced. This edition describes the static reader published for 2026.
