Cookies and browser preferences
The supplied reader does not need cookies to display its pages or prepare a letter.
What the supplied site uses
The HTML, CSS and JavaScript of this reader set no cookies and do not write to localStorage or sessionStorage. They contain no analytics, advertising, embedded social widgets or third-party tracking scripts. Mobile navigation, subtle reveal effects and the contact preview work without persistent site storage.
A server, hosting service or separately supplied consent layer can have behavior outside this reader’s code. For example, a deployed consent service may retain a preference so it does not ask repeatedly. This page does not claim that such infrastructure is absent; any additional storage must be disclosed by the service that introduces it.
What these technologies mean
A cookie is a small value a site can ask a browser to store and return with later requests. Browser localStorage can preserve values on a device across visits, while sessionStorage generally applies to a browsing session. They are different mechanisms, but all can be relevant to privacy depending on their purpose.
Ordinary browser caching may keep copies of page resources to make later visits faster. Cache behavior is not the same as a site setting an advertising identifier. Network requests may also generate operational server logs; see Privacy for that distinction.
Your preferences
There are no optional cookie categories in the supplied reader to switch on or off. The footer’s “Cookie preferences” link brings you to this explanation rather than changing a setting silently. If a deployment-level consent panel is present, use that panel’s controls for the categories it identifies.
You can inspect, block or delete site cookies and stored data through your browser’s privacy or site-settings controls. Choose the entry for pavilionsortwalnut.living when clearing this site specifically. Clearing a separately stored consent choice may cause that service to ask again. Blocking storage does not remove the reader’s written content.
Letters, clipboards and files
The contact letter exists in the current page’s memory and is not saved as a site preference. Copying places text on your device’s clipboard; downloading creates a file. These are user-requested device actions, not cookies. Deleting browser cookies does not necessarily clear clipboard history, downloaded files or information your browser independently retained.
External websites
Source links lead to independent websites that may use their own cookies and storage. Their practices apply after you choose to visit them. This reader does not embed those sites or load their tracking code as part of its source links.
Questions and future changes
If optional analytics or other persistent features are introduced, their purpose and controls should be disclosed before use, with consent where required. Questions about this edition may be sent to [email protected]. This notice describes the static reader published for 2026.
